April 25, 2007 - DR. DONNIE FOX IS THE 5th PRESIDENT OF CLEAR CREEK BAPTIST BIBLE COLLEGE
At their April 17 meeting in Pineville, KY, the trustees of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College voted unanimously to call Dr. Donnie Fox as the school’s fifth president. An alumnus of the Pineville college, Dr. Fox has served as Director of College Relations, Director of Admissions, and currently as Dean of Institutional Advancement. Dr. Fox holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Education also from Southern Seminary.
“It is truly an honor to follow God's call to lead His college,” Dr. Fox stated. “I look forward to following God's leadership and building upon the legacy that others have left over the last eighty years.” Fox will follow the 19 year tenure of President Bill Whittaker, who has resigned to return to pastoral ministry.
Chairman Tim Langford spoke for Clear Creek’s board of trustees as he voiced approval of the board’s decision. “The Board of Trustees pray that God will richly bless Clear Creek Baptist Bible College under the leadership of Dr. Donnie Fox as the page turns on the next chapter of ministry at Clear Creek.”
Dr. Fox’s wife Penny is already involved in the work of Clear Creek, serving as Executive Assistant to the Dean of Administrative Affairs. Donnie and Penny’s son Aaron is a Registered Nurse at Claiborne County Hospital Emergency Room in Tazewell, TN. Their daughter Andrea is a sophomore at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN.
