The new Classroom Building, dedicated in August 1998, contains 8,500 square feet of space and houses a campus bookstore, lecture room, science room, and four classrooms. Each classroom can accommodate 35 students, while the lecture room comfortably seats up to 88. Located over 30 feet above the floor in the foyer, the eight faceted-glass Scripture windows in the cupola underscore the Bible emphasis of Clear Creek.
The Asher Building, originally
built in 1974 as a preschool facility, was remodeled in 1994
to contain a classroom, music practice rooms, and faculty
offices. A unique feature of this building is the utilization
of doors (donated by a Kentucky company) as wall coverings
inside most of the building. This is the primary location
for our music classes.
The library owns approximately 40,000 print volumes, 250 print periodicals, over 1800 titles of video cassettes and DVDS, 2500 audio cassette tapes and CD's, all of which are listed in the online catalog available at http://www.youseemore.com/clearcreek/ Library patrons also have access to over 9,000 electronic books through NetLibrary and thousands of citations and full-text periodicals through KYVL, EBSCO and Proquest.
The library offers a number of services such as interlibrary loan; an audio-visual area for viewing videos/DVDs; a LifeWay curriculum lab, an archive room, conference room and use of copy and fax machines. A Lending Lab equipped with an Ellison lettering machine and dies, a large laminating machine, easels and other materials aid in teaching preparation for homeschooling parents and children's workers. A weekly story hour is held in the children's room. For a nominal amount, library patrons may purchase used books from the sale table.
A helpful, knowledgeable staff is available for assistance both in the library and in the computer lab where thirteen computers have access to both the campus network and the Internet. Stop in and enjoy the resources our Father has provided.
